  my mom at 73 is full time pioneering and complaining that many days a week the young couples never show up.

  she describes them as having new cars, big houses, and having to both work to maintain their lifestyles.. she mentioned the above statement from the latest co to the congregation.. oh really......!.

  i said to her, well none of these people were allowed to get college educations and they are probably earning 10.00 an hour max which goes nowhere.

  having believed the whole bible, hook, line and sinker all these years i get the impression many of you have come to the conclusion that we should take it with a pinch of salt and not hold to it so dogmatically.

  and some possibly believe in it just as much as you did when you were a witness.

  to save me some time please, lovely people, as i am very lazy - could you share with me why you do or don't believe in it - what evidence there is either way and if there are any particular books that you found helpful in coming to your conclusions?

  My mom always said the dinos were to eat the vegitation then they died and humans were created on the newly mowed land. Later I watched cartoons and learned the real reason evolution came up with dinos: to build rock houses for people:)

  this young man gave his life, he will probably never have a wife and family for the rest of his life and this is how they are treated ?

  i have a question for anyone who can help me.

  i found a wooden casket in the water i opened it and several notes and some sort of biological remains inside.

  the casket was only 12"x10".

  SATAN WORSHIP?

  i've been several months out now (da'd in feb 07).

  i took to wearing a pentagram , since i really do believe in these five main elements to life.. however, as you will know the pentagram is also reffered to as 'star of satan and various other things.. my point is: as far as the witlesses are concerned, i worship the devil since i dont worship jehoobah.. but!.

  i would rather be a worshiper of satan, who everyone knows can be a bit of scumbag at times, but at least i know where i stand with him, than worship a god who proffesses to be the only true god, yet devastates his followers when they realise the true extent of the lies of his apparent earthly organization.. so i wear my pentagram with pride!.

  I wear the pentigram, too, for the same reason you said about the elements. The top point mean spirit, so if it is upside down, depending on brand of religion, in Wicca it just means that I am not working on spirit yet or haven't worked on it yet and also that I reached the first degree (I haven't). For Satanists, I believe it means that spirit is the least important to the other elements depicting more physical needs. Some Satanists don't believe in Satan but in putting desires before spirit or God. I don't see evil in any of that.
